St Fillan's Cave, up the Wynd from the Harbour
Dates - Tues 10th, Wed 11th and Thurs 12th August 2010 at 2pm.
FREE ADMISSION - DONATIONS GRATEFULLY RECEIVED
Following on from last year's highly successful 'One-Man Odyssey', Pittenweem performance-storyteller John J. Taylor brings a new series of linked stories, all stemming from Ancient Cretan Civilisation.
Enjoy the dark and beautiful stories of Theseus and the Minotaur, trapped in labyrinth created by the mad inventor, Daedalus, who lost his son, Icarus, who flew too close to the sun when they tried to escape from the crazy King Minos. And so on...
These enticing tales are told in the atmospheric setting of Pittenweem's ancient St Fillan's cave: the most labyrinthine space in Scotland?!
A show for young and old alike, one day will follow on from the day before. Turn up to all three sessions, or just pop along to one.
John J. Taylor is the Artistic Director of Theatre Odyssey, a community arts organisation dedicated to promoting Classics throughout the UK. See www.theatreodyssey.com for more details.
