Grecologues: Myth: Modernised

The Grecologues
THE GRECOLOGUES
New Writing By John J. Taylor and Megan Stodel
7.30pm, Sat 3rd October in The Barron Theatre, North Street, St Andrews.
Two days of intensive rehearsal will culminate in a rehearsed reading of new writing by John J. Taylor and Megan Stodel.
'The Grecologues' are a series on monologues based on Greek myths but heavily modernised. Circe is a sexy policewoman, Orpheus a rock star, Daedalus a hot-air balloon enthusiast, Tiresias a hermaphroditical receptionist for a plastic surgeon, Oedipus meets his psychiatrist. The list goes on...
This rehearsed reading also includes a filmed, cross-Atlantic Grecologue featuring Malia Andrus in Chacago, as Antigone takes on the role of a Newsreader.
Laughter and tears are promised, as these misfits are led from one twisting tale to another.
Not suitable for under 16s.
